I can finally spend a lil time penning down my thoughts now! The previous two weeks can only be described by nothing less than hectic. Two tests on each week and our FYP presentation was earlier this week. More than glad its over!! I mean everything, tests and what nots!! Finally time for me to take a breather, during the festive season! My favourite occasion every year – Chinese New Year!!!

The reason why I love CNY is not because of the food and delicacies, its because of all the new clothes and stuffs. Everything is gonna be new!! Woooohooo! :) Although I still buy new clothes here and there along the year, CNY is like the only occasion you can wear new clothes every single day without giving any excuses to wear them! :D:D:D

Had been sleeping at some exotic early hours in the days consecutively for almost two weeks! My eye bags are as dark as you can imagine, and it requires double layer of foundation to conceal the darkness! Goshnesss! hehehe. Think SP wants to kill all the graduating students before they finally graduate! :)))

Anywayyy. Wanna thank my girls, especially my dearest FYPgirls, Weixue’love and Angela! :)))  Thankyou for all the times spent together, be it doing FYP experimental bench work, doing our FYP report and powerpoint, and assignments!!! We’re finally done with ALL of them! :D Loveee you two! And the other 3 significant girls, my B, my D, my mui, thanks for making the past 3 years so bearable. School days wouldn’t be as fun without you girls! Can’t wait to hang outzz after the exams, stayover at my crib, annual dinner and dance, and finally our Bangkok trip!!!! :D Ohhh, not forgetting Ang Suet Yin!! You knowwww laa, hehehe. Love all these girls! :D They make up the colours of the boring school days… 3 years passed just like that! :)))

So emotional..

Don’t think I’ll be going out to Singapore very often since there are no more lessons, only left with the exams and I’ll be officially be done with my final semester of poly education! :D Brought back prolly 2/3 of my stuffs from the Clementi place! Need the last trip out to get EVERYTHING back! :) Woah seriously, I think if I were to go Aussie for further studies, I’d need to send everything back by sea courier! HAHAHAHA. The accumulation of all the stuffs that I’ve used for the past two years, is really A LOT. Counted the number of pairs of shoes I had in Clementi – 18pairs. -____-! If my parents get to know one-eight, I’ll never get to buy anymore shoes la! The packing was awful too, despite having to juggle with all the tests coming up, I still had to pack my stuffs so that they could be sent back to JB by my parents! So disturbed by it, ended up packing some stuffs I required home, and left A LOT of stuffs I could have brought home, there. ’nuffffffffffff.

Still super happy over the fact that its the eve of CNY tomorrow!! :D So Happy Chinese New Year to ALL! :))

Finally caught Avatar ‘the movie of the year(?!)’.

I first saw the trailer of the movie in the theatres, while they were showing trailers of the upcoming movies, commercials, and what-nots. Honestly, even after watching the trailer twice, I still have absolutely ZERO idea about what is going on in the movie. It feels like suddenly I see humans and at another instance I see those blue-green-coloured aliens! :O

I was not convinced that the movie was finally up on the screens ‘after four years of production’, that the producer, James Cameron, ‘conceived the film 15 years ago, when the means to realize his vision did not exist yet’ until now..

But but! After catching the movie on the screens, I totally understood the story, the reason as to why there were both humans and aliens existing in the movie. It was totally unlike the way I interpreted the show to be when I watched the trailer. THE MOVIE WAS DAMN GOOD. Thumbs up for Avatar!!

The only thing I couldn’t decipher was regarding the ‘revolutionary technology’. I mean the graphics and effects and everything were so real and perfect, yessss. Just that I don’t know what was that exceptional special effect created by the revolutionary technology, that could not be done years ago. call me a technology noob then. T_T

Oh if you have caught my previous review, you’d have known I’m a sucker who never fail to fall asleep in the theatres. Nothing surprising actually, I fell asleep at a few (really a few, like 2-3)  instances for a really short while!! But for movie that lasts 2 hours and 40 mins, I’m pretty proud of myself. At the same time it shows how good the show was as well!! :)

So fasterrrr go catch the movie if you haven’t, before its removed from the big screens! :)))) Definitely worth the moolahs, I feel.

Next I’m so waiting to catch Treasure Hunters!! Starring Jay Chou (<3!) and Lin Zhi Ling? :D

I oso wanna catch Alvin and Chipmunks 2! The trailer was soo so cute!! And I didn’t watch Alvin and Chipmunks 1. :/

Bodyguards & Assassins!

Caught the action-packed blockbuster of the year, 十月围城, Bodyguards and Assassins last week. Couldn’t believe there were so many superstars starring in the movie and yet I didn’t recognise any of them. It was only at the movie when the credits were rolling that I saw many familiar names.

Angela Chua had a good laugh (at me, of course!) when she knew that I didn’t know any of those who starred in the movie! She almost fainted when I couldn’t recognise Nicholas Tse, Leon Lai, Tony Leung, etc etc.. She knew so much about that show (when she haven’t caught it) and it was as if I didn’t watch it lor.. T.T I think I’m pathetic. HAHAA. I told her, if Nicholas Tse had his normal hair in the show, I’d prolly make it out that its him, but the olden days hair style totally confused me! Same for Leon Lai, who appeared as a beggar in the movie, so chui and ugly! Seriously he look so much better in real person okay (I googled images of Leon Lai immediately, to save/prove myself!!), so naturally I couldn’t make out that its him! :O

After all the fighting and killing blockbusting scenes, I got a tad worried about people assassinating me while walking back home now and then. HAHAHA. So silly but true.. Thanks for being my bodyguard that day! hahahahaha!

On the overall, I think the movie is great!! I almost didn’t fall asleep in the movie, but I did close my eyes for like one second, I admit. It’s considered good for a person like me who falls asleep in the theatres more easily than on bed, sometimes. LOL! There isn’t a single record of me not falling asleep at all in the theatres, up to now. I’m sure to close my eyes for a split second at least. HAHAHA. And I’m not the least embarrassed to share my movie experiences. Omg! :O

I can watch Avatar soon next?!! Everyone who watched it all gave thumbs up for the movie and said its a must!!!!! So I’m not gonna miss ittt. Gonna find time to watch it!!

Chinese New Year approaching in less than two months! Mommy counted, think its 52 days to CNY. Haven’t bought any new clothes yet! Can’t wait to start spree-ing for new clothes man! Loveeee new clothes to the max! :D

I think the interface is gorgeous. So neat, so pretty! {should have downloaded it long ago!}

Furthermore, it is fast and efficient. As in things loads fast! I don’t think its all in the mind, its true!!

So glad I got bored. And my Mozilla Firefox is filled with loads of websites that are temporarily saved for school work. So I decided I need a new browser to surf the net. HAHAHAHA.

It just got me thinking, whats with these people naming themself 新裤子. Oh if you don’t understand, it simply means ‘new pants’. New pants for a band name? Definitely not for me.

MST was the craziest of all in three years, because I fell sick! Not forgetting my sleepy spells when its time to mug-a-lot. Its not helping at all!

In this whole week, I slept before or around 10pm thrice. HAHA. and its only friday today. meaning 3/5 days of this week, i slept freaking early. this is how ridiculous i became when i’m not well. all i wanted to was to sleep and hoping that when i wake up the next morning i’ll be feeling great and kickin’. but in terms of sleep time, it was a miraculous week. wish it’ll last. improve my complexion and skin! but nah, late nights are here to come!

finally could listen to my ipod for its most basic purpose – entertainment. when i was travelling on the mrt. HEAVEN! chose tik tok by ke$ha, and let it continue by random shuffling. next song was bad romance by lady gaga. oh my. how i miss partying. not that i party alot. i’m no party animal but i just love clubbing songs! AND MOM STILL DONT LIKE THE IDEA OF CLUBBING. oh well.

previously ipod was either to stuff my ears to wall off noise, or to merely keep me company together with my notes/books. neh.

its the season to be merry!! xmas in two weeks. slightly lesser than two. wanna meet loads of friends these two weeks before the year ends! because i will be spending my last week and first 3 days of 2010 in vietnam for a holiday. fated to only visit-taiwan-2010!! better late than never!

oh. and speaking of the forth day of 2010. back to school. back to the usual. oh meh. but its. 3 months to graduation, then. slightly lesser than 3 months, to be exact. then it’ll be the chinese new year. and final final year exams. and TA-DA. i’m a SP graduand!!! just like how i was a marsiling graduand 3 years ago! :)

where to, after graduation? big-question-mark up there. shall wait and see!

meanwhile..i wanna travel to sooo many places! too many to name! and i wanna work somedays too. like eg. IT fair! a new world to experience then. i believe the word ‘tired’ will have another totally new meaning. heh.

so much to look forward to!!!

Its the weekends again!!

The days pass by so quickly; before I can even recall what I should do for the day, the next day is here to come. Time to reduce some activities to give myself more rest!

It felt as if Monday was yesterday, the day Daddy fetched me to schoool, and now its Friday all over again, when I’m back home!

We had steamboat at home on Friday night!! Been long since I had dinner at home. Since the maid went back for a Hari Raya Vacations, I guess. Furthermore, my mommy hardly cooks during the weekends ( which includes Friday!) and I’m only back home on Friday! Dinner was wonderful! The bickering between the three siblings never fail to make our parents break into smiles sometimes. Other times it get them irritated instead. Haa.

BBQ + Steamboat with coursemates yesterday, instead of meeting up with the Sweets! Awesome night anyway! Loveeee the whole bunch of us, hanging out and chilling out together! :DD 13 of us were present yesterday!!

I came back yesterday night and my momma nagged at me regarding partying till late on Wednesday! I wasn’t agreeable to what she said, even though Iknew she meant well. For that, I made her angry. Daddy was mad at me too. For the same reasons.

This noon, I tried to persuade my momma to bring me out shopping I was dying to get this pair of Crocs shoes from Jusco Bukit Indah Shopping Mall, because I was told there was only one last pair of the size I want. Then she actually told me she went to the mall on Tuesday with Daddy but they didn’t get it because she didn’t know what I wanted. I went fuming mad because like I said, there’s only this one and only pair that can fit me. And I said some nasty stuffs. For that, I made her angry for the second time, in two days, less than 24hours. (I’m sorry, I know I’m in the wrong, and I’m totally glad my parents’ didn’t buy that pair of green pumps which is the only colour available for my size as the colour didn’t fit my feet at all.)

My (SUPER LOVELY) parents brought me to the mall to get my Crocs. I ended up choosing another pair of pumps because as mentioned above, the green colour available didn’t go well with my skin at all! Was damn gleeful I got it because I think its super comfy! :] Spent 139bucks on that pair of Crocs. We walked around for awhileee, and wow it was almost 1030pm without us even realising, the shops were ending their business for the day!

Here comes it. I was arguing with my momma (AGAIN! yes again! I dont seem to learn my lesson huh) regarding the size of the scoops of ice-cream which we wanted to get. Then again, BASKIN31ROBINS have got stupid and weird servings of their ice cream. Two different kinds of scoops, junior for a smaller one and regular for bigger scoops. Why must they make their life so difficult? So I was trying to explain to my momma which deal was a better one and she kind of don’t get it, because stupid baskin31robins have got plain ice-cream, and have got something else on their menu to allow people to create their own ’sundae’ by adding toppings, but with junior scoop ice-cream only. The thing was, I continued to explain to her after we got the sundae one because of the price and my tone was loud and bad and it made her MAD again. For the third time, in 24hours. Damnnnnnn.

I learnt my lesson.

I feel disgusted with myself.

I know my parents love me. I know they always want the best for me.

I want the best for them too. But sometimes before they even see the best intentions, I make them lose hope in seeing the sensible me.

I hope it'll be a better day tomorrow.

Today marks the third week since school started, but it feels like the first week. Lecturers who are teaching us are sooo busy attending meetings/courses/whatever that they are cancelling lessons like nobodies’ business. Yess we are so relaxed now but it means that life definitely gets busier as time goes. Bet some will start rushing through the syllabus to complete it. Totally don’t anticipate what is gonna happen.

Days been good since school started! The girlies make my day everyday! :D

Trailing my thoughts back to those FYP days during the 6 weeks vacations. If it weren’t for FYP, we wouldn’t have met most of our course mates. And since knowing them, we’d gone for a course chalet, a successful one I’d say, halloween party @ Escape themepark, and will be going clubbing together soon! Even met a few seniors who came back to SP to help out. Isn’t that wonderful!

With that, I think that the current separation of the course students into stage A and B is flawed! :( Like we only get to know our course mates in year 3? Unless we get to meet each other under the Chemical and Life Science club when we take part in events..provided that they get involved as well.

That asideeeeeeeeee.

I don’t know what else to blog! :(

Can’t wait for Annual Dinner & Danceeee.!! Really wanna attend it at least once in three years of poly education! Especially when I didn’t have any Prom Night in Marsiling Secondary.. Ahhhh.

Next up would be the Homeparty gathering @ Marsilinggg Secondary Schoool for the school’s 10th Anniversary! :] Can’t waittttt to meet up with the people in there!! ((:
